Tour de Suisse

I've been waking up a bit earlier these days. This always happens in summer. Time to start getting my miles in before the sun's heat does.

Mid Season Thoughts
Training diary and random excerpts.
Bakersfield was kinda disappointing for me. My legs just weren't there in the final climb and I spent the last 15 miles chasing and ultimately getting caught by the main chase group. But I'm putting all that behind me. I learned from my mistake and I have my eyes on this Sunday's race in Ontario. I will have Austin and Nick with me for this race. We are going to work together and try and get one of us into the sprint.

Cadence Team Kits are IN!
There is no sleep to be had over at the Cadence camp.
I haven't checked on Dustin in a while but he seems to be busy. A lot has changed since the Fast Friday / MASH days but I'm stoked on the new direction. Good to see him still being creative and doing the things he loves. The new team kits are classy and modern...wouldn't expect anything less from Cadence Clothing.

2012 Coachella Expands to TWO weekends
Pre-sale starts on Friday.
For the 2012 installment of Indio, California's Coachella festival, organizers are expanding the festival from one to two weekends: April 13-15 and 20-22. A statement on Coachella's site announced that both weekends will feature identical lineups.
Passes for the fest will go on sale this Friday, June 3, at 10 a.m. PST, and will stay on sale until the following week, June 10; the pre-sale will be the only chance for purchasers to take advantage of the multi-part Coachella Payment Plan; more info on that over at the fest's site.
